a love letter to my craft

I sat down to write, and nothing wanted to come. I almost walked away. But then I heard: ‘Share what’s current.’ And what’s current is… I love making soul packages. Still. Always this will be one of my first loves.

Sacred History

If I was truthful, creating soul packages started when would make mud pies with leaves and berries and give them to my dad. Stirring dirt, water and flowers in my play dishes creating “soups”, and crushing holly berries and orange peels from the groves by my home was my “go-to” playground. Little did I know I was a little medicine woman in the making.

Time goes on and studying herbal medicines became my love along side of college. By day I dabbled in edible and non edible concoctions; talking to plants, wading in rivers, getting lost on the trails and communing with the devas. By night I was in college building a future in community leadership.

Always returning the next day, to my love affair… nature, plants and all of her magical spells.

At some point these creations found their way to others. Soon I was creating soul packages for the , mostly women, in my life. Co-workers, friends, family members, and neighbors became the community that support my craft.

Over the years my “products” have taken on many versions. Sometimes they reflected the hustle to survive, other time they reflected status and worthiness. (those never lasted and always drained me)

My love always returns

By my first love, always returns: those custom blends I created in love and in pure service for the highest good of the receiver was my hearts throb. There is that spot when there is no force or hustle-it is pure alchemy when all the doors are open and ripe for magic to thrive.

This is the truest form of these soul packages and she always returns.

The parasite cleanse

I created a parasite cleanse for myself lately and ended up creating some for a friend who asked.

A simple parasite cleanse becomes a sacred altar offering. Each green elder picked in love, created in prayer, reduced to their sacred elixir. During the process the recipients medicine moved through my body as I felt what was feeding on her and what needs to be released. A blessing was shared as part of her prescription.

Here’s the ting about soul packages that come through me, they are literally coming from your soul, not mine. Its never about what i think you need. Its about staying open; being able to feel what your soul is transmitting.

It is through my hearts and hands alchemy occurs.

Supernatural in my world

So what do I love about this… I delivered the elixir yesterday evening, by this morning my sister friend was knee deep in the next layer of her awakening. We don’t do coincidences. We know supernatural when we see it and we trust the perfect unfolding of what is meant to be.

What did she say to me as I gave her the jar, “I am afraid”. I said you should be, be very afraid, because this right here is going to take you through”.

Did I know what would occur, of course not. But I know my medicine, I know what showed up in its creation. I know what was whispered into each leaf and spoken in the steam as she cooked down.

I trust at the end of her two weeks with this elixir it will just be the beginning.

Supernatural looks like an herbal body salt scrub that can bring you into deeper connect with your body. A tincture that reminds you your worthiness and softens your journey with your heart. It has also shown up in a herbal infusion that when drunk with intention begins to work in your system as a positive virus crowding out illusionary thinking that has settled in your tissues. I asked Spirit, what will you have me do? I heard, “Let this share be the frequency.“ There’s no glamor or glitz. There’s no big arrival of something new.

There’s the ask, “Do you feel it?” “Is this for you?”

Soul packages are crafted through attunement and conversation, I begin by listening, first to you, then to what’s ready to be born on your behalf. I’ll tune in and gather the elements that want to come through.
